IRD Telemetry Unit. A means to command IRDs via network or modem. Fail safe way never to lose the network.

• Connects to compliant satellite receivers (IRD) and relays commands and interrogations to/from network for health and status monitoring.
• Enables protocol conversion between serial and Ethernet data.
• SNMP compatible
• Permits command of IRD function (channel change!) via remote network.
• Provides monitor data (Eb/No signal strength and aquisition state).
• Optional modem interface.
• Option to provide real time viewing statistics.
