Media CenterSeptember 2005 MediaMagic completes roll-out of Second Generation DI hardware MediaMagic Corp. of Belford, N.J.,successfully deployed a new generation of dealer hardware for it's Digital Imaging System. Our existing equipment had been in service for over 5 years and it was no longer possible to purchase those cameras and scanners. Furthermore our system made use of custom firmware and interfaces designed and provided by the camera manufacturer. We wanted to build a new system that would be completely independent . This involved considerable design work in order to have camera, docking station and scanner assemblies talk together via USB and to watermark scanned VIN information on the images. Our new DSK3 service writer terminal can easily be upgraded to accommodate new camera and docking station releases as required. Our Digital Imaging Systemprovides for rapid-response warranty
